Graduation Meeting
Balfour will be here on Monday, October 6th†to present to the graduating class of 2015. †Seniors will attend the meeting during their Government class. †(If a student does not have a Government class, arrangements will be made to attend in another class.) †Parents: please look for your son or daughter to come home with information, brochures, and order forms. †

Good morning Borah High School. I am Raghad Dawood and I am Ryan Standley and these are your September 25, 2014 morning announcements

​Dorian Studios will be at Borah on Monday, September 29th to do picture retakes.† If you had your pictures taking earlier and† are now having picture retakes, please bring your original picture packet with you.†† If you did not have your pictures taken earlier, you can stop by the office to pick up an order form.

All juniors and sophomores will get to take the PSAT (practice SAT) here at Borah, free of charge on Wednesday, October 15th all juniors. Research shows that students who take the PSAT first, score 145 points higher on the SAT than those who do not. The PSAT and SAT measure the same skills, and they have the same format, directions, and question types. In addition to this helpful practice, students will receive their PSAT scores and therefore know what areas they need to study for the SAT. The PSAT for juniors also provides entry into National Merit Scholarship Program competitions and scholarships.†

For all sophomore, junior and senior girls interested in playing basketball this year, there will be a short meeting in coach Willer's room 206 at lunch tomorrow.† We will discuss the calendar for open gyms and dates for the start of the season.†

Lionís Den Monday through Thursday from 3 to 5. The teacher will be Stone.

Boys Varsity Soccer will host Rocky Mountain. Game starts at 6:30

Girls Varsity Volleyball will host Mountain View. Game starts at 6:30

Football will host the team across town tonight at Dona Larson Park!!!! Game starts at 7:00!!!!

These are your September 17, 2014 morning announcements.
Interested in spending Spring Break in Italy? Bring your parents to an after school meeting in the Borah Library at 6:00 tomorrow night.This is going to be a trip of a lifetime! Sophomores and juniors, we are also starting to discuss the trip for Spring Break of 2016. If there is a place you are interested in visiting, come to the Tuesday meetings in room 106.More information to come!

Wrestling Meeting tomorrow for anyone interested in wrestling this year.† Will be in the wrestling room during lunch.

Lionís Den Monday through Thursday from 3 to 5. The teacher will be Banks.

Do you know how to fly-fish? Would you like to learn to fly-fish? Come join Borah's brand new Fly-fishing club! Mr. Rose and Mr. McHenry will cover everything from the fundamentals of fly-fishing to advanced techniques to try. Some excursions to some of the region's best fishing spots are in the works, too. We meet today at LUNCH in Room 106. Come join the fun!

Latin Club will meet at lunch in Room 114 today. Come help us plan events for this fall and design Latin sweatshirts.† Everyone is welcome -- bring a friend!

Hey Key Clubbers!There will be a meeting this Friday at lunch in room 210.Are you interested in community service? Are you interested in getting involved in monthly service projects? Come check out this weeks meeting.Our Red Cross Rep will be here to discuss volunteer opportunities for our upcoming blood drive.Bring your lunch and check it out this Friday!

French Club is meeting Wednesday in room 216 at lunch. We will have treats! We will talk about our new club shirts designs and have French tutoring.

Girls Varsity Soccer will travel to Mountain View. Kickoff is at 6:30 PM.
